Owl with Attitude by bassboneComment by K3Master: It was a day for the books, that day that Carl finally said "O RLY?" To Albert one last time.
Just try it, Albert had warned, I dare you. Just say it ONE MORE TIME.
O RLY?
Feathers flew, blood was spilled, and in the end they carted Albert off in a straight jacket. YES RLY! YES RLY, YOU BET YOUR OWLY ASS RLY! he screamed repeatedly as they dragged him off.
It's never pretty when someone finally snaps. |

Owl with Attitude by bassboneComment by bob350: Yellow eyes grab attention, complimented by the red mouth, while the detail preserved in the feathers gives the eye lots to explore. Very well done. |

Pride by bassboneComment by VitaminB: Incredible sharpness in this photo. DOF and exposure are perfect. One of my favourites, and hopefully one of the top 10 in this challenge. |

Pride by bassboneComment by shamer: Wow - well done. When I see shots this tight, I immediately think that the bird is in captivity, so I have to say that usually I'm not as impressed. But I'm putting that aside on this one because it is really such a nice capture. There's great detail in that piercing gaze, isn't there?! It's a little over-exposed on his head though & I only mention that because it caught my eye & that led me to notice the LCA (green fringe) around the edge of his head. But don't let me put a downer on an otherwise great shot! -- 9 -- Good luck! |
