Stock Kittyby jerrftComment by autool: Superb close up! I think it might be a little too bold for most walls, but there are many great places for it. Technically perfect. 10 |

No Bones About Itby jerrftComment by ChrisW123: I think that's a dog in a cage behind the bones? If so, the dog is way to blurry and doesn't convey despair (because you can't see him). If that's not a dog in the background then I'm totally lost with this one. |

No Bones About Itby jerrftComment by jodiecoston: Being a dog lover, I'm particularly fond of this image. It's well executed and fits the challenge well without being morbidly depressing. Excellent sharpness on the treats and creative use of dof with the dog. I hope the puppy got to eat the props when you were done... 9
2/26 - Had to come back and change this to a 10... One of my three favorties this week. |

Stock Kittyby jerrftComment by ChrisW123: Nice shot. The place of the eyes and nose is great, plus the lighting is really good. 8. |

Side By Side - Forever Togetherby jerrftComment by Gracious: Critique Club Comments by Grayce
This is a very nice composition with an ethereal quality to it because of the misty background. The color adds to that overall feeling.
I like how the foliage growing below the trees sort of reflect the shape of the distant mountain, in reverse, similarly to how it would reflect in water.
Using a portrait rather than landscape orientation works well with the subjects, since they are vertical.
Overall this is a very lovely composition, peaceful and pretty. I'd agree with some of the others who said they didn't see how it really meets the challenge.
Regards,
Grayce |
