Iridescenceby AnnComment by MaryO: This is why I didn't enter this challenge; I don't have regular access to a Hummingbird ;-) He's looking a little oversaturated on the throat but the detail in the eye is fabulous, and the requisite wing blur is well-defined. I'd do a Levels adjustment to darken the background and make him stand out even more. |

Searching for Breakfastby AnnComment by bs-photos: Nice reflection colors! He stands out nicely against the water bkgrd, too bad he couldn't have been in the water so he would've been surrounded by those pretty colors. Don't you hate when wild critters don't take directions! ;) |

Searching for Breakfastby AnnComment by MaryO: Lovely bird, nice job on the exposure and I like the feathers blowing in the breeze. DOF strikes me as a little odd in the foreground as it seems to be uniformly OOF and then suddenly in-focus at the shoreline, rather than a gradual change. Could be a trick of the angles of the camera and the shore. |
