Desert Dawnby AnnComment by shamer: Though the composition leaves me wanting, the display of backlighting is quite nice. It is a neat effect, but the image comes off a little busy with all the cacti in there. Moving in closer or simplifying the composition by framing a singular cactus with a simpler backdrop would have been more appealing to me. << 6 >> |

Desert Dawnby AnnComment by MaryO: Nice combination of shapes and textures. I have no idea what the scale of this is; the big leaves in the back look like aloe which would mean this was a small desert-type garden, but the lighting and perspective make it look like these plants are huge. That rather sparks my imagination :-) |
