Good attempt. Some things that I would suggest: Crop it tighter to remove some of the background people. A little less of the filter that gives it the plastic feel (I'm guessing it's some type of filter).

The colours are lovely and good timing to get the bee. The shadows from the sun are a bit distracting. If you can't position yourself to hide the shadows perhaps using a fill flash may have helped. What really hurt this shot for me is the lack of focus. Macro shots really only work when the focus is sharp IMHO. I don't have a macro lens so when I want to photo something small I back up enough to have the subject in focus then crop as much as possible without losing too much resolution. 3.

Look at the TEETH! In all your happy color-warping you've made the teeth flourescent :-(

i like the colors and the smiles but there are some serious noise reduction issues and color/saturation issues

I'm sure i wont be the only one to mention the strange artifacts in the image. That aside, your photo seems busy with many things and fails to draw the eyes to a certain point. 5.

Kind of soft and a bit short on oomph somehow. Not a lot of detail showing in the bee. I think this may have been tough light for this kind of shot.

This looks pretty heavily cropped and not quite a macro shot. I like the colors but it is not real sharp. YOu got the flower details, bt lost them on the bee. Shooting in the harsh afternoon sun can be difficult... I have discovered the Sunny f16 rule. In mid day sunlight, use an aperture of f16 with a shutter speed equal to 1/iso. So at ISO 100, shutter speed would be 1/100. You should look it up online. The Sunny f16 rule... I have been having fun with that because it doesn't limit you to shooting only in the golden hours!

Good attempt. What this photo really needs is tack sharpness, which it simply doesn't have. Also, maybe turning down the color saturation down a bit would help, as it feels neon bright.
