saraby whiterookComment by Magnumphotography: When shooting gulls, you really have to watch the exposure. Judging by the shot, your metering system exposed for the background. Leading to blown out highlights, on the extremely white bird. Check your histogram/photo review often. If you like more tips, don't be shy. I'm a big bird shooter. |

clammer and his birdsby whiterookComment by quiche: I can see how you might find the high contrast look of this appealing, but this kind of shot doesn't typically do very well on DPC. Your highlights are too blown out, and some voters will not consider wild birds to be pets. Good luck, and keep shooting. |

saraby whiterookComment by Melethia: Wonderful golden tones! Sara's chest is a little blown, but my monitor is often too bright. |

clammer and his birdsby whiterookComment by Purple_Girl: Pretty sure wild seagulls don't count as pets and I'm even more sure that they don't feel any affection for him. Lots of details are lost in the blown highlights and there's not much focus from what I can make out. A low-scorer for me, I'm afraid. |

clammer and his birdsby whiterookComment by stphq: I don't even know where to start with this lol.. exposure is way off, theres no way those birds are his pets or interested in giving him any kind of affection.. sorry but epic fail lol |
