Living roomby whiterookComment by dtremain: I love the colors in the vase, the flip album of pictures (and the ocean picture visible), the oof hanging lamp with white cut glass "shade", and the wonderful picture in the background. This feels like a very relaxed space, comfy and inviting.
If you want nit-picks about the image...it feels a bit tilted (the bottom of the vase, and the right edge of the picture frame). I like the vase and ribbon, but am not fond of the glitter eggs on a wire sticking out of the top. Because they are bright color, centered and in focus, they become a draw to the eye - pulling it away from other nice aspects of the image. You also have the left edge of the frame running through the spaces between the various parts of the vase. If not done intentionally, it would probably be less distracting with the vase entirely in front of the edge of the frame, or completely inside the frame.
Nice to see you entering challenges - especially one that scared me away... ;-p |

Living roomby whiterookComment by Bilberry: A prospective house buyer would not gain much information about the living room from your image I'm afraid. This seems to be all about a few items in the room. |

Timelessby whiterookComment by KarenNfld: What I like - reminds me of summer!
What I don't like - tilted horizon, sensor dust spots, uninteresting composition |

Timelessby whiterookComment by ThingFish: Nice but the horizon is badly tilting to the left. Or did you want to emphasize the curvature of the earth?
Ps. You have some bad dust bunnies on your sensor. Time for a sensor cleaning. |
