It's hard to tell what your subject is supposed to be. Is it the tree in general or was there something in the tree that drew your attention? Also, it's a bit overexposed and not very sharp.

I think the challenge was full of good pictures, which might explain why nothing came under this, but there's not a whole lot wrong with it (to my jaundiced eye). Daylight reflecting off the gloss on the leaves bas perhaps washed it out a little...

I had a case of it about a year ago after pulling some weeds. No fun at all. The photo is fairly flat and plain, I'm afraid. I did play with it a bit, and found that some adjustments (curves, Topaz adjust, sharpening) gave it a bit more visual pop.
