Uhm. That's water, not glass. If the theme were 'reflections,' 'ovals,' 'old people,' or 'gardens,' this would be an easy 8.

:-) I do hope this is an ironic entry ... it has all those crass elements of dodgy postcards down to a 't': just wonder how many people are going to agree with me. Too much text, pointless (even bizarre) message, excellently done. Really like this.

Oh that would have looked so cool without the cutter inside the pond. Also I would have framed it a lil different so the whole pond was in the shot. The symetry of the shot is off a little bit (not quite centered) The colors look goop. I bet you'll have a lot of peopel who say it doesn't meet the challenge, But I feel it does, "the water is as still as glass"

the hop on over got a grin from me - good entry. The phone lines on the left are irritating

Greetings from the critique club... as I said before I felt this photo was washed out and could have used a better point of interest. I felt that having so much in the photo makes it really busy. I like your use of old and new... thats a good photography trick, it puts things into perspective, also you have some great texture in here. It looks really sunny... did you take this around noon? I would have tried to get it when the sun was shining one way, or if you had a kind of greyish day. Like I said before getting down and making the boot look HUGE would have been pretty cool. The brightness in the upper left hand corner really takes my eyes away from the subject. Good job of everything being sharp, though I think if you got down and used a much lower aperture setting, the blurred background migh look better and take away from the backgroudnd distractions... interesting idea though... I would definitely continue working with that shoe as a phtoographic tool. Good luck in your next challenges!

Greetings from the Critique Club!
This is a nice pastoral setting and very soft and moody. The coloring is nicely saturated and the fog is beautiful. There are beautiful shades of green. Very 3 dimensional.
I like the rolling, hilly landscape and the format of panoramic style works well with this.
I love the trees. They just look so beautiful.
The clubhouse doesn't stand out much and I don't think it matters one way or the other whether it is there or not. If you hadn't mentioned it, I wouldn't have really been able to tell for sure what it is.
This composition is very nice. Nice to see the little golf ball in there too. Helps tell the story.
Post processing is fine. No noise or artifacts.
Nice job!!
Regards,

Grayce

how symmetrical..you'd think they planned it for you! The colours seem muted though..did you have any luck playing with it in photoshop to give it some pop?
