Duesenburg V-16by drydocComment by tristalisk: good grief what an engine..other than the shear size of the engine he photos not real interesting. Perhaps some colored lighting could have helped. |

Languae of the Fan ("Yes")by drydocComment by TooCool: This is an awesome example of why catch light in a portrait is important. The eyes here are down right creepy. Nothing personal agains the model, I'm sure she is quite beautiful. the composition other wise is very nice with good seperation of model and background. I don't see how it fits the challenge except in title though...

Languae of the Fan ("Yes")by drydocComment by fotodude: it is an intrusting idea but i feel that the fan is not as much the subject of the shot as the face now (i of corse not speaking fan) if the fan had been spred open and say not eaven covering any part of the face, i think it would still have more of a presence as the subject in this image. |

An Officer and a Gentlemanby drydocComment by Olyuzi: Composition and concept here is excellent. Really like it but the image could use some improvement in other areas, such as, exposure (too dark) and it looks a little soft to me. Also, skin tones appear a bit too red to me. Other than those issues, which can easily be fixed, this is a great photo! Well done on the composition. 9 |
