This is one of my 8s - I like it a good deal. Furthermore I think it enriches the DPC collective portfolio. Put simply, I wish we saw more stuff like this. Let me tell you why it pushes all the right buttons for me:

1. I'm a sucker for a good POV and this certainly has that.

2. I really like the colours, it must have been tempting to go monochrome but I'm sure you've made the right choice.

3. I like the bands of illumination down the escalator, presumably echoing light fittings above.

4. I also like how there is just one person and how that is suggestive of a late night.

Overall, I like the 'being there' feeling I get from this.

Lovely luminous glow on the water. The pier is a great subject and you've photographed it well. On my monitor, the sky shows posterization, as in not a smooth gradient. Pls take that as constructive criticism. I do like your image. 7
