Blow your topby dan_pendletonComment by Pidd: The colors on this are great and you stopped the motion nicely. I think anyone who has ever not attached the lid of a blender correctly before turning it on can appreciate this shot. Nicely done. |

Blow your topby dan_pendletonComment by adine: fun liquid action - I love how the lid is flyiong off. Effective stopped motion. I more contrasting background might look interesting - but this is good. 9 |

Rack Reflectionby dan_pendletonComment by Mitonski: I think this may have meant more to me if there'd been more office stuff around, the main subject seems a bit too small in the whole picture. But technically a nice piece, will be interesting to find out what your reflecting surface was. |

Rack Reflectionby dan_pendletonComment by orussell: If you had cropped this in tighter, portrait style (long side up and down), it would have been a much stronger image. Too much yellow and red takes away from your subject. 5 |

Blow your topby dan_pendletonComment by pinback: Great action catch. The strongly coloured background actually detracts from it for me, but still a great idea and good shot. What is the liquid? |

Blow your topby dan_pendletonComment by qachyk: Hehe. Nice shot, I really like the setup, the basic composition, and the moment of capture. I really don't like the backdrop colour, I'm afraid; it's a good contrast to the liquid colour but it's extremely bright and somewhat jarring, and not really on my favorite list of colours anyhow. I'm wondering if you could have acheived as good a contrast with something a little less well-lit or a little less saturated in terms of colour... well, it's a trade-off, maybe. Still, excellent overall.
I'm assuming it's inadvertant you have an eye-nose-eye shape in the mixer's foundation, but you do, which is kinda neat. |
