Even with my bad eye, I have to make an exception and comment on this image just a bit further. I think an injustice has been done. This image deserved a higher placing not only on the superb lighting but the sheer force of the subject matter. I understand the reticence about voters dismissing baby pictures, but the baby here, a very cute one, is merely sharing the billing. Yet look at his little hand! The Godfathers pose and expression are indeed in the classic mode. I do believe that the voters missed the delivery. This goes into my favs and keep up the good work.

I love this picture for so many reasons... First the humor. The concept is very funny. The Godfather's expression is both funny but still looks like a "wiseguy". The baby's expression is great too. Looks like a little tough kid. Plus I wonder how much people noticed the baby's right hand gesture, it looks like he's pointing a gun... Anyways, it's a shame it didn't end up one of the top three. Great work!

This one will be a priceless treasured family photo. What a great angle and how can you miss with those chubby cheeks (Either set). The dark shadow on the left of the face would be a bit much for any other purpose, but for this shot it is perfect. 10.

Great shadow there - nice crisp focus - a shallower DOF would have isolated him from the background a bit better. But, I am an Aussie - so this gets a 7 from me :).
