I really think this is a very nice image but it would have been more suited as an entry in a "Body Parts" or "Legs and Necks" challenge. Or of course something like a nature, animals, birds, visit to the zoo, or orange challenge. It's a bit of a shoehorn for this challenge imo.
What I mean by that is that I have difficulty fitting this image into the challenge theme "Bits & Pieces" as both birds are quite intact and in one piece.
