House of Sand and Fogby noranekoComment by posthumous: the fence has its own wave and pulse, from different angles becoming different things. you used this angle to create the illusion of wide border.
sand, ocean, fence, weeds are all pulsing madly. you found a sedate, controlled angle to rein them in a bit. controlled chaos... disappearing into light. count me in. |

House of Sand and Fogby noranekoComment by jaysonmc: I really like the repeating patterns here. You have a good eye for composition. You know me though, I am a stickler for people. Put a person (or a bird in your case) in that bottom left third and bam one in a million. :)
But as a pure landscape, I think it is wonderful. Capturing fog is always difficult and easily accomplished the mood. Stunning photo. Message edited by author 2007-05-03 21:11:58. |

PAD B&W Day 2 Untitledby noranekoComment by bdenny: When I saw the thumbnail on the thread I was amazed at how great an image it was. The full-sized version didn't disappoint but it seems too grainy or over-sharpened...not really sure. Overall, its a wonderful picture with excellent composition! And I like the border, too! |

PAD B&W Day 2 Untitledby noranekoComment by Art Roflmao: A bit oversharpened, IMO. The lighting and composition give this image great potential though. I could see doing several versions of BW editing on the original photo. |

PAD B&W Day 2 Untitledby noranekoComment by alexjack: The grain is very effective IMO, I don't care too much for the halos around the hair, does look like a dodge and burn done without enough care. The picture though is fantastic, great moment with tough but effective lighting. Looks like it was fairly harsh given the shadows yet you still got great skin tones. Really super image.
