IMG_Day1Mr.Orange.jpgby noranekoComment by Melethia: I think this worked out just fine! What did you use for the conversion? Did you try other methods, to see how it would affect the eyes? That's a fun thing to do with cats. Great shot, by the way. Love the intensity, and an excellent job of capturing the fur well. |

PAD B&W Day 2 Untitledby noranekoComment by JerseyGenie: A very hotly contested shot you've offered us. Now for my 2 cents (might be even worth less than that): I'm sure it was a beautiful photo untouched, I think it would be a beautiful art piece with a bit more manipulation. But I absolutely prefer how well it straddles the two in fantastic fashion just how it is right now.
Congrats. I think it is fantastic. |

PAD B&W Day 2 Untitledby noranekoComment by bmartuch: Don't you dare get rid of that grain!!!! I will never speak to you again if you do!!!! OK maybe that's a little extreme. This shot is absolutely fantastic with one little exception. There seems to be a halo effect around the lower part of the dreadlocks. Other than that, this is excellent. Just my uneducated opinion. |

House of Sand and Fogby noranekoComment by SandyP: Wow!!! Yes. Yes. YES!!!! You can do this more now, because this turned out FANTASTIC! I love the drama of the fence leading your eyes to the nothingness in the fog. I think everything about this photo is WONDERFUL!

IMG_Day1Mr.Orange.jpgby noranekoComment by colorcarnival: I'm no expert so I can only tell you what I would have done - whether it is right or wrong I am not sure. I love this! It is GORGEOUS. The eyes really pull you in. The detail on the fur is awesome. So the thing I would have done would be to cut off the part on the left, and just kept this as a face shot. Very pretty! |
