Dogwoodby noranekoComment by Bruce_the_Robert: Wonderful image; I really like it. I'm looking at it and wondering what a wider crop with the flower to the upper right might have looked like, but I'm not sure it would have been an improvement. Good work on the dodging/burning, I don't see any evidence of it (which is good; my dodging/burning is always clearly visible). |

Salvation Bentby noranekoComment by roz: wow .. unusual and different ... excellent contrasts and love the different things going on .. the cross totally makes this image for me .. :) .. altho without it, with that awesome sky and that brickwork/window/thing on the side of the wall ... its still a great photograph .. :) |

Salvation Bentby noranekoComment by Alicia: The slanted cross against the dramatic sky is the really interesting part of this photo. Good clarity and tones. |

Salvation Bentby noranekoComment by ursula: Nice B/W. Two tipis and a cross. I'm not sure I like it divided like that right down the middle (half sky, half building), but it is a very interesting subject. |

Dogwoodby noranekoComment by SandyP: Oh yes. .this would have been an awesome symmetry photo! But its so lovely as a black and white photo too. I think the white pops even more against the ferns and green background than it would have in color. It is beautiful.

Brigadoon Harborby noranekoComment by jonfrommk: Well my thoughts is that it is a great fog shot, think the softer contrast is pefect and really enhances the weather element (If you look at the reflection of the pier it is wonderful how it diffuses from ultra crisp to rippled blur)
IMO the seagull on the right is a bit of a distration. Not really clear enough to be a feature, but pretty much on a rule of third line which means it draws the eye away from the main subject
