Outside Inby noranekoComment by krnodil: This does have a lovely emotive quality to it - and I have to laugh after reading your photog comments - now I have an image of her hoisted in the air thinking, "what the...?" :) |

Chelsea1.jpgby noranekoComment by JuliBoc: Really nice. I think the cross is the little detail that makes this a very interesting image. |

Into the Lightby noranekoComment by jaysonmc: I really like the setup of this shot. Wonderful setup. Just a thought, I might be tempted to crop off the top a bit, just so there is no light up there. I realize you were going for the architecture of the building, but this might have more a visual impact. Your mileage may vary though. But beyond my unrequested two cents, I really do like this picture. A very well done shot and I can't stress enough how good the lighting and setup are. Superb. |

Outside Inby noranekoComment by jaysonmc: Frankly, this was my favorite in the challenge. A good portrait with terrific environmental elements something that is rarely seen. |

Outside Inby noranekoComment by danielv: comment related to your "pointers to what doesn't work" question. First, with a 6.94 score, I wouldn't say it has not worked. My take is that it lacks the high contrast tack sharp details that seem to work better on average here (too "dirty"). But at this stage, I would not change anything, unless your only goal is to collect ribbons. Because this photo is at least worth the ones that ribboned - if not better. - as it is. (for one it is perfectly sharp, imho, where it needs to be, no more). Message edited by author 2008-03-06 12:31:49. |

Outside Inby noranekoComment by cpanaioti: The colours and the mood of this image are really nice. For me the composition is perfect. Based on the score, it looks like the voters agree. I think what might have pushed this up in the standings a little bit more would be if the dog were sharper. |
