I don't really see anything that jumps out at me in this photo as a clear subject. Maybe the light pole, but then that to me seems just distracting. Maybe try finding something near the pond that will give the photo a focus point.

Hi Robert, welcome to DPC. So here's what I would say about this one. While it is a reflection (and a pretty sharp reflection, looking at others in this challenge), there's not really a wow factor. The tone is a bit flat, and there doesn't appear to be any interesting subject that my eye is drawn toward.

Don't be too discouraged, though. This was a difficult challenge in which to create something unique and fetching. Learn, and keep trying!

The reflection is good but the colours and light are dull and flat. The bits of rubbish distract and there's also some sensor dust that, with the new basic editing rules, you could have removed. I realise it's difficult to make a drainage pond look glamorous, but some contrast and colour boost would have made this a little more visually appealing :)
