IMG_9480_Brady.jpgby dsternerComment by PHOTOKID: I really love the face that you captured on the baby Deb, Excellent focus and detail. I love the catch lights in the eyes and also how quickly your lighting falls off behind, Great lighting control. |

"...A Kid Will Eat the Middle of an Oreo First...and Save the Chocolate Cookie Outside for Lastby dsternerComment by colorcarnival: ok so i am slacking again - slacking here, slacking on the job, slacking on life (but the kids are clean and fed - one point for me! hehe)
ok first let me say that if you want to write an "essay" for your title - you keep on doing that. :) If anyone doesn't want to read it, it really shouldn't be your problem.
Anywho, I think this is very well done. I did not vote on it of course (because I knew it was yours) but probably would have given it at least a 7. I love the lighting on it. You will have to tell me what you used. Just a regular lamp? What kind of bulb? Oh that is right, you have moved into "fancy-pants" lighting now. :P
Anyway, love the composition and looooooooove the teeth marks. What a scream! And yes, I see that your yummy oreos beat my slimy inside-out pepper pbbbbt hehe
Sooooo.... nice job! |

Keeping Them In - Or Keeping Them Out? ...The Picket Fenceby dsternerComment by MacDonald: A nice take on the challenge.. I like the angle you shot this from.. I always enjoy lines in photos.. While I like the starkness of the pure whites and blacks, I think some grays would add more texture in the blacked out areas and give more detail in the hardware on the fence.. giving this photo a broader tonal range. However, that is a personal decision and up to you as the photographer. |
