Take Out #2by JerseyGenieComment by riversong: Nice, elegant and tasteful! The soft lighting really adds to this exotic image. Nice job with the detail and cropping, too. Cool.. the plate has an optical allusion going on in the corners! |

Take Out #2by JerseyGenieComment by PhotoJeff: After seeing the numerous shots of chopsticks I was getting sick of them, however this photo does work well because of the colours and placement of the items. A good still life shot. |

Kissing Cousinsby JerseyGenieComment by noraneko: I thought this would finish much higher - and is really underrated IMO. I was one of your 8's. I really do love the mixture of textures here. |

Take Out #2by JerseyGenieComment by bassbone: very well composed image - the lighting is spot on and even though there are many other chopstick images in the challenge, this one is clearly leaps and bounds above |

Oct-6-itsy-bitsy.jpgby JerseyGenieComment by macrothing: Well. One of my favorite subjects. Very nice image. The elements which make this image unique (the oof / bokeh web and the 'something' bottom left) also detract slightly (although they're growing on me) - and that is mainly because of the size of this image. I really do wish I could see it larger, having said that, this image 'wall sized', would likely take on a different 'personality'. On further study, I am becoming more undecided on the bottom left area as it dominates too much with those beautiful 'gems'. I really like the pattern created and 'overlayed' with the oof strands. If you hold your hand up to the screen to block out that left, 'cropping' the image near vertically, it (again) takes on a different form. A stronger one, in my opinion. Or rather, appeals to my taste more. This is, after all, just my opinion/thoughts on the image. That colored bokeh background really sets that off as well. I really like the 'draping' and vertical effect of the strands. Nice and sharp in those areas (good use of the tripod). Very nice image. Thanks. |

Take Out #2by JerseyGenieComment by h2: where's the soy sauce? nicely arranged, but had gone either for a top view or a lower angle. |
