Rhyolite Mercantile.jpgby SheryllComment by JawnyRico: I agree, the USM seemed to put a glow around the building. Much better in tones than the original. Bringing down the Brightness helped. Also a much sharper image. USM is a little heavy, I would try burning a bit of the blown out boards at the top of the building IMO. But nice job non the less. |

You could have tried flash on this to have eliminated the shadow from the donkey's head. What shutter and aperture? The focus is not sharp, so maybe the shutter speed was too low. Unless you have image stabilization, 1/50 is about the min for handheld. Try putting the camera in continuous shooting mode too - this gives you more chance of getting a better shot.
