Excellent composition and excellent exposure control to not blow out the whites in the face. This is a really nice shot. Beautiful bokeh and quite and interesting subject. You have to love these little guys. I suppose that's why they are photographed so much. Nice details in the featherers. I'm so glad that you didn't try to over sharpen the image which would have ruined it. It's sharp enough just as is, most likely because you are shooting with high quality glass. Good luck with the challenge!!!
