RR Xingby JuliBocComment by Bear_Music: This was one of my higher scores int he challenge actually. I think it's a fine image. I'm not surprised it finished low, because it's not really addressing the "perspective" issue in a way people can comprehend. They will see the receding diagonal of the train as the "perspective" part, and that's not what the picture is about. But very nice PP work and an "arresting" image (pun intended). |

Follow Me Boysby JuliBocComment by BHuseman: I like the title and the composition. Overall I think that you met the challenge very well. Blending looks good. But the image looks a little soft, and the birds maybe a bit OOF. For that I am giving it a 6. |

Phragmipediumby JuliBocComment by Wildcard: I like the composition and the oranges against the deep green, great detail in the flower and the bud as well. My one nitpick would be that the purple flower in the background is distracting. But lovely DoF, just enough shape in the leaves to be interesting without being distracting. |

Phragmipediumby JuliBocComment by raish: Beautifully done, Julianne. Depth of field is a viable method (not to say one of the most effective) of isolating the subject. You used colour and tone as well so it was triple whammy, or at least double :-)
I think wow factor carried the day for the winners in this challenge. You've actually got a lot of that, but maybe it's just-another-flower-pic in the eyes of many.
Not a sscore to be sniffed at, but less than you deserve.
