I like the ever so slightly off kilter feel here, though I'm not really a fan of the extreme vignette (what are you hiding in all that darkness?). Your description reminds me of this song:

"I like studying faces in a parking lot

I'll weigh in on the vignetting....I don't like it :) I also don't like the slight tilt of the dock, but I'm just obsessive that way. I do like the leading lines drawing you down the dock and off into the ocean and the great patterns on the dock.

Not quite sure what to think of the black shading at the top. My eye is wanting to view something further out. I have to really use my imagination wit this shot. Not sure that is a good thing or not.

Next shot like this.. run in front of the camera so we can get a shot of your butt walking away from us or you could creep around like a stealth.

I defnitely liked it very much. There are people who do not like vignette but i think when it is used carefully can be used to accentuate subject. Here it works very well.
