underground rainbowby LanndonKaneComment by LanndonKane: A DQ! :-/
Apparently I was disqualified because I used that vignette slider in RAW conversion to enhance the vignette. I didn't know it was illegal at the time, but apparently many others have been disqualified for the same reason.
I did get an email saying they are going to clean up the RAW conversion clause of the basic editing rules, so at least something good came out of it. Message edited by author 2007-07-06 14:37:08. |

Postmodernby LanndonKaneComment by posthumous: I was your 10. For me this evokes the first abstract painters of 100 years ago, Matisse, for example, with his cutouts. |

Postmodernby LanndonKaneComment by LanndonKane: For you, klynn, I'll tell. I was really cheesed off about the score, but ill give away my secret anyway.
Quite a few of you got the answer... sort of.
It is paper, and it's tied up on string in front of my monitor. Unfortunately, in basic editing i had to get rid of the string with heavy applications of levels, so I couldn't get the three dimensional appearance that i was hoping for. All the levels and contrast made it appear all three paper cutouts were in focus, which is not the case.
So congratulations to Sheryll for getting the right answer. And for those who guessed paper, you can be the runners up. :P |
