Great job! A different type of shot from many of those in the challenge, which keeps me from being bored looking at all the same types of shots. However, a water shot, or even a shoreline shot, does not always mean 'beach' in my opinion. And meeting the challenge, to me, is the first and most important thing, if that isn't done, then anything else is unimportant. Doesn't mean it's not a beautiful and creative shot, because in this case, it absolutely is! I do love it! I went back and forth on how to score your pic, but I do vote low for those that I don't think meet the challenge, so to be consistant, I am voting this lower than I want for the reasons stated above.

Glacial potholes sound very interesting, but unfortunately, your picture doesn't make them look very interesting!!!!
Sorry to be so blunt.
But the picture lacks the "wow" factor.
It's hard to say how you could achieve it as I don't know what the area is like around the holes.
A more interesting reflection captured in the water maybe?
Or perhaps a long exposure in the rain?
Just my personal opinions.
Well done on finding a unique subject though.
I bet I don't come across anymore Glacial Potholes in this challenge :-)

This photo just doesn't have any punch to it for me. The subjects of the photo are at the edges of the photo which doesn't work either.
