First Snowby Crafty SueComment by wingy: I think I'd have gone black and white on this shot, if for no other reason than to keep that yellow sign in the background from drawing attention to itself. |

First Snowby Crafty SueComment by GolferDDS: Nice shot. I don't know if the yellow sign was an important aspect of your picture, but for me it attracts my eye and takes me away from the overall beauty of your picture and the subject of your title. |

First Snowby Crafty SueComment by EddyG: I think I would have edited out the yellow "crosswalk" sign. My eye is immediately drawn to it, and I don't think that is the intended "focal point" of your composition, is it? |

Shapesby Crafty SueComment by cbeller: Just looks like a picture of a pattern on a blanket. Not even cropped evenly. |

Shapesby Crafty SueComment by jmsetzler: This photo meets the challenge, but that seems to be about it. Maybe I don't understand what other vision you may have had with it. |

Shapesby Crafty SueComment by Imagineer: This shot relies too heavily on a material shape rather than generating intrigue through the photograph itself.
What I mean is - it's dull because everything is just there right in front of you. No angles, lighting, focus or creativity using the medium. I'm very sorry to sound negative but if you look at the others out there they're generating interest from unusual vantage points and a considered composition. Don't get discourage though - just learn from the masters! ;) |

Shapesby Crafty SueComment by timmi: Challenge met, you got a shape. But the image is out of focus (you got too close to it and your camera probably cannot focus in such a small distance from your object). Also give your shape more space around so it can stand out. Did you try to blow this up? It looks pixelated. Colour is nice. |
