Even though I didn't really think it fit the portrait description, I still gave it a reasonably high score. The reason? It's artistic, spooky and yet nostalgic, well-lit and well-composed. You have a real talent. Am starting to recognize your photos out of all entries with little trouble, which also means you have a signature.

Interesting, trying to get a paintinglike effect here I guess? I quite like those ideas, altough the effect here has resulted in some blur softness that I do not see in paintings. There is a light halo around some parts of the arm and head scarf, looks a bit sloppy.
I also think that this could benefit from a more darkened background, because the tones fo grey in fore and background are too close now.
I like the composition, the pose, the light and the facial expression. 7
