A heck of a capture but for me you've only met the motion aspect of this challenge.

Returning to bump this up. It has grown on me since first viewing it. One thing that this has that others don't is a sense of creation. This doesn't exist if you don't make it happen so in that respect it's much like still life. Also, I can't help but appreciate the reversal of still vs motion you did in this shot. The ball should be in motion but it's not and the players who should be more stationary than the ball is in motion thanks to the motion blur. Clever photo.

Sorry, but I don't get a feel for a still life shot at all. While the focus in the ball appears crisp, this is not a still life.
