I share that resolution. Nice still life. One nitpick I have is the amount of empty space in the top half of the image. I'd like to see something fill more of it...maybe a small melon or some such choice. Still, I think it is the best of the still life shots this week. 7

I like this image. It takes my eyes right into the center of the image to the back snowline. I wish there was a feature at that point. Maybe a dog or someone coming out of the background. Still, I like it enough to score this with a 7.

An appealing image that contributes to the challenge

I suppose there are several ways of interpreting the challenge brief especially given the absence of a definition and I like your creative take on the theme. The sunlight coming through the venetian blinded window add to the abstract nature of the painting and decoration on the wall in a way that adds an air of mystery to the image, I like it. I think your composition is spot on, what we canĂ¢€™t see through your crop adds as much to the image as what we can see, I love the top the way it dissolves any detail and the bottom which reveals the lines for what they are. All of this works really well for me Peggy, thanks for sharing it with us.
