NJ Sea Gullby ladpupmoeComment by BeingClever: I think if the seagul was reversed with the light, this photo would have been far more effective. Too bad you weren't standing on the other side *grin* However the composition is unusual and I like it. |

Pink Treeby ladpupmoeComment by rcrawford: To me this photo look very harsh. I think the pure white house in full sunlight is just too much. The stop sign and the power lines also detract. I does look like a beautiful tree and I think that if you shot this later in the day, when the light was not so harsh, and composed it so the tree filled the frame it would make a great shot. Keep working at it! |

Pink Treeby ladpupmoeComment by Swashbuckler: This does show the entire tree.....but a whole lot of other things too. The white of the house gives a good contrast, but with so many elements in the frame, it detracts from the subject. Focus seems indeterminate, I can't tell what is strongly in focus, very little detail of the tree. 5 Rob the Swash |

Falling Snowflakesby ladpupmoeComment by justine: CC....Greeting to you...ladpupmoe
Fits The Challenge-Yes
Composition-Good
Background-Good
My Opinion- text"I found that I had capture a snowflake in mid-air." YES!! and really neat too. Good going!!! You could crop that down to just the snow flake. Interesting. Fun. I think the light is a bit bright for shooting snow...not easy. It's really something you have to watch and be aware of. The colors are good as is the composition. The focus looks a bit off, but hey... ya don't go around catching snowflakes in mid air every day. Shoot more. |

Pink Treeby ladpupmoeComment by nathaliedoo: make sure your principal subject is in focus. try thighter crop and the rule of 3rd in your composition. here, everything but the three was not necessary, just a branch or few flowers of the tree would have given a better image. Hope that helps. Keep up submitting. |

Pink Treeby ladpupmoeComment by kiwiness: This is an interesting shot. At first I thought this house was on wheels till I realised they were bushes under the house. The power lines are pulling my eyes away from the tree a little. |
