I wanted to do something similar for this challenge, but decided against it because I thought there would be a lot of them. The idea is great. I really like the way you took both flowers at the same angle. The yellow border works nicely for this as well. I think that the focus and clarity are good, and the lighting is also good. my only suggestion would be to maybe been able to get them with the lighting the same on both flower, and bud, but don't know how possible that would have been. Good luck in the challenge.

The yellow boarder is a bit overpowering. Something more mild would be better, or maybe just plain black for contrast.

The overall picture is just a little out of focus. Conceptually its a good shot though. I would've like to seen a little more room on the left side of the train. The crop is just a little too tight.

Nice subject... tried one similar to this, but didn't like the way mine turned out. Personally, this seems a bit over-sharpened, and the colors a bit over-saturated... to the point of becoming the focus of the shot, rather than the intended subject.

Neat series, very bright! The white background works very well with the green bud, but not as well for the yellow open tulip, it seems on the stark side. I think I would have liked the leaves more evenly portrayed, too. 7 Rob the Swash

the full bloom flower i find to be over-exposed but still like -7
