As soap pictures go, considerably more interesting than the 'spilled soap' idea so many others have gone with. I like the inclusion of the scrubbing pad for interest level and colour contrast alike.

I'm getting the idea behind these shots. Although it's already been done with jelly beans it hasn't gotten worn out yet. I do like the idea with the paper clips...good take on the challenge. I just don't like the tape dispenser in the photo. The vivid blue kind of wants to dominate the picture and takes away from the muted colors of the paper clips. Also, the table seems to want to go downhill to the viewers right. 7 Good luck in the challenge.

How did you do this? A nice idea, a sharper focus would have been nice but I can understand how that would be difficult if you are dealing with flying paper clips. Good luck with it.

It is so quiet you can hear a pin drop.

Fun idea! I'm a bit confused, though. Is this all the same pin? If so the motion could perhaps be clearer. I love the lighting and composition.

I like the combinations of colors and the reflections in the liquid. I'd have cropped on the left. Wish the DOF was a bit larger so the scrubber was all in focus.

The color drew my eye initially. The white background provides a good setting for the contrast between the blue and brass colors.

Well, The verticals are vertical, but the strong horizontal line in the back is not horizontal. The is a bit of a tilt/curve in the 'horizon' there.
I don't particularily care for the straw. It's being all distorted by the ridges in the glass. Also, you can see the ridges at the top of the glass.
I think that this would have a higher visual impact on me if the glass was a solid glass, or if the straw was just not there. I realize that the straw was added to make this shot not 'boring' however, I think it has a negative effect on the photo as is.
The focus seems a bit soft, but I'm wondering if that is because of the wavy ridges in the glass as well. Most likely hard to capture becuase of the textures.
The angle and framing/cropping (with the exception of the tilted 'horizon') is good. I think being centered is important for such a symetrical shot. And the horizontal line IS placed in a nice spot within the photo.
I do think that this is a bit grey though. Would like to see the whites white.
Overall a nice shot, with some few minor adjustments, this could be great.
