Macaroni & Cheeseby ladpupmoeComment by A Weaver: My favorite dish. Add a little smoked sausage to it and you have a masterpiece. Maybe a little dash of pepper! A little blury in the forground. Good luck |

The inside of a Geodeby ladpupmoeComment by Faye Pekas: The bright white is distracting as are the white specks on the bottom right. The top left 2/3 of the photo is gorgeous. A crop of just that part might have been better. With a gold and black border :) |

Macaroni & Cheeseby ladpupmoeComment by HBunch: Mac and cheese and tomatoes?? That just looks discusting. As for the photo, it seems that the DOF is a bit shallow. TOO shallow. The only part that really stands out to me as being at all in focus is the edge of the tomato. Also, the shot seems grainy. Especially in the blue area. It bothers me that the large area of mac and cheese in the bottom right is badly out of focus. I would prefer this part to be in focus. ~Heather~ |

Entomology ~ The study of insectsby ladpupmoeComment by Beagleboy: Decent bug shot but overexposed. Shooting the little guy from another angle might have eliminated the glare on the wing and the eye. Almost looks like you used a direct flash, which is almost always too harsh. |

Macaroni & Cheeseby ladpupmoeComment by Gracious: You made good use of the tomato to add red. Cheese and tomatoes are appealing to most people thus the popularity of Pizza and lots of other dishes. The blue plate adds an unexpected element. Personally I don't like when the oof area is in front. To me, most of the time, the foreground should be in focus or cropped out. BUT...that's just personal. :-) |

The inside of a Geodeby ladpupmoeComment by Neuferland: Geode! Seen enough of these for sure in my lifetime! The idea is great. The shot itself though, while the cropping is great the lighting on the right is too bright and the shadow that falls across the center is distracting. Knowing how beautiful these can be inside with the right lighting I would have played with it from that side and had more of the focus on the center. Starting this one at a 5 |

Macaroni & Cheeseby ladpupmoeComment by LucidLotus: I love macaroni & cheese but I have to be honest and say this looks a little unappealing. Might be the soft focus, the noodles don't look very defined and the color is a bit washed- out. I do like the color differences however - nice use of primaries. 4 |

Macaroni & Cheeseby ladpupmoeComment by RickDN: Getting an 8. Focus and arraignment are my issues. I would have pulled back and tried to get the plate edge to give some 'linear' object edge for contrast. The focus speaks for itself. I do know that the focus it tough at this distance. |
