the lighting on this image makes it perhaps not as interesting as it could be. it seem very low contrast on the dog, but where there are highlights they are very bright... I guess i am saying the lighting on the dog is not very interesting or doesn't show detail really at all. Gok cropping, the DOF works well

I might try a tighter crop to reduce the distracting patterns in the spread and the wallpaper, but other than that, this is quite nice. Your taco bell doggie looks quite classic.
