Beautiful shot. Certainly fulfils the criteria of Backlighting. If I was being picky I'd say there's a bit to much blank space on the right and I wonder if the whole subject could have been in sharper focus??

Sorry, but this is a bland scene shot from eye level with awkward exposure settings. It is actually well composed but you need to stop down a bit increase exposure time, use some fill lighting (or let the ambient light enter the censor) and maybe even use some muted flash. Also, try crouching down to bring in some detail and use a tripod if the light is poor.
