Losing my Marblesby ladpupmoeComment by HBunch: I found them! There they are. I like the creative way you used lighting to give this visual appeal. I like the background, nothing distracting about that. I think that the colors in the marbles are good, and focus and clarity are also good. I like the arrangement very much. The shadows are what make this for me I think. Nice fun shot or a simple subject...7 simple subjects. Good luck in the challenge. ~Heather~ |

Losing my Marblesby ladpupmoeComment by bananashay: I like the patterned shadow, it adds a lot of interest. A different arrangement of the marbles might work better for me, this is a little bland. And a side note, they can look really cool shot outside on a sunny day. |

Losing my Marblesby ladpupmoeComment by alien2thisworld: I think this idea is good. I like the shadows and tilt of the shot to give a nice diagonal from top left to bottom right. One thing I might suggest for improvement is to use a deeper depth of field so that the details of all the marbles can be shown. This current depth of field seems to blur out the closest and furthest marbles |

Alone in the sunby ladpupmoeComment by ladpupmoe: Thanks for your great comments and your votes. I was trying all that week to get a good b/w photo, but couldn't get what I wanted. When I when grocery shopping I saw these flowers. The flowers were red and yellow stripes. I put it in the front of the window with the sun shine in. After probably 50 shots, I got the one above. |
