Seems to be 2 focal points in this shot - the light colored broach in the foreground, and the purple ring. The two I think could have been used together, but without another item to compete such as the quartz/stone they are resting on. Specs in background in a member's challenge could have easily been cloned out, but something to pay attention to when shooting (I never seem them either until it's on my monitor) (5)

Cool idea. Matchs pretty well with the rock. Lighting is somewhat dull and could've used some HUmphs. Lots of little grainny spots and dirts in the pic, which could've been avoided with some spot editing. That really kills the effect. Also a Frame of some kind (black and purple?) would do well here. 5

This is truly minimalistic. Love the minimal pallette..the stark black against the smooth gray sky...very pretty. It reminds of an ink drawing...love the title.

I wisht here was a little more light on the purple crystals to see more detail. Also the focus seems a little soft on the white jewelry. Nice background.

The kissing birds is a very good accent to this picture. The background could have benefited from a more uniform tone. There appears to be too dark of a grey on the right side. Also a little bit more cropping on the left to remove those upper branches would be beneficial.
