Your image is relevant to the challenge, but your title isn't. Cabbage Patch Kids were really created in the 70's, but once the originator got together with "Coleco" to mass produce in 1982 many were sold before 1983. So this image meets challenge, but the title was off by a few years. I also find the blur just above the head a bit distracting, but like that you included the leaves.

I like the use of multi-image lens. The subject did not seem to do well with this lens, though. The detail is very good, but as an abstract I think a better, more obscure subject would have been better.

I don't like dressing animals up, it has alway been ridiculous to me. The shot is nice anyway...:-(
