Aw, he's cute! I'd love to have a full-sized pond but there's no place to put one. I settled for a half barrel water garden, but it does have fish! Not photogenic ones, but something to eat the bug larva ;-)

my daughter had hermit crabs for a short time about 7 years ago .,,. in fact it was when we got 6wks old katee .. we werent able to keep them coz our house was so cold .. we took them back to the shop . they were the most interesting little creatures tho . this is a great shot .. excellent for the challenge too .. love how he's coming out'v his shell like that .. :)

Wow! I've never seen such a flash hermit crab. My son had some a few years ago but their shells were just average shells.
