Good vision... but with the other dog's butt in the photo and the placement of the majority of the subjects face in the lower middle of the frame, it just sort of feels like you took the shot without considering any compositional aspects of the photo.

To my eye, this dog has a rectangle head and fits the challenge. He/she is black/dark brown? So is my dog and that makes it harder for the photograph to really pop but you did a decent job :) I do wish I could see the dogs eyes and I think missing the top part of it's ear might hurt you a bit in the scoring but it fits the challenge and I imagine is a good pal.

This is a really nice photo of this dog, especially with the ears in the air. It really doesn't fit into this challenge, however.
