The colors are nice and vibrant. I think that what's throwing me off is the un-levelness of the cage.
I like the title, fitting. And a nice close up.
Did you try taking the picture at a further distance? Sometimes that helps with the composition of an image as well. I know there are many pictures that I wish I would have just taken a few steps back, while others that I should have taken a few closer.
Overall, nice entry.

I loved this shot; I was focusing purely on color and compositional detail - I guess people probably had trouble with the lack of contrast, the values all pointing to shade... still was very good.
