Preparing for battleby caroleeComment by Wraith Ravenscroft: I really like it. We see a LOT of chess set images but you've really set this composition apart. Great perspective with lots to look at and enjoy in the contrasts between focused and unfocused pieces and all the amazing reflections of the sky. |

Preparing for battleby caroleeComment by pncowley: Shallow DOF really adds a sense of perspective to this shot; clouds and blue sky add an almost magical effect. In my opinion, the edge of the chess board is a bit distracting, and might have been better cropped out. |
