Absolut Inebriation.by GordonComment by Alecia: ok. i have studied this for at least ten minutes and i am stumped! I can see how you would have gotten the words blurry-- but then wouldn't the vodka's words be blurry too? how does the lid fade into the screen? this is driving me mad!!:) you must tell the secret... as for your score, you get a 10! great picture! |

Absolut Inebriation.by GordonComment by jmsetzler: Whoever made this photo needs to be sure to get it in the "how'd they do that" section of this website. This is my favorite photo in this challenge. I saved it for last to vote on because I have been trying to figure out how it was done and I'm stumped. I thought about the possibility of a multiple exposure, but in my novice abilities, I don't know if that can be done with a digital camera or not. The bottle is very translucent and I am absolutely amazed with this. A strobe or a flash on the computer screen would have washed it out and I do believe this bottle has been flashed due to the lighting level difference... Please fill us in on this capability! I hope you aren't getting a lot of hassle about this one... Great Shot! = 10 |

Absolut Inebriation.by GordonComment by TrickyBuddha: Holy Cow! The highest I have ever given a photo is an 8. I have to give this one a 9. There's good, and then there's so good that I don't even know what is going on. I could never in a million years figure this one out; hopefully, you'll write up a description for the "learn" section of the forum. It looks like you reflected the bottle onto your screen or some such, and then blurred it somehow - maybe by shifting the camera and using a slower shutter? I have no idea what I could say about this one that would be of any use. Nice job! :) |

Absolut Inebriation.by GordonComment by moondoggie: Aahhhh, Gordon, now I see what you meant by people thinking this was going to look Photoshopped. Well, yes it does. Darn nice work too! I really like how you brought out the colors of the Absolut Citron label. You'll have to make another appearance in the 'How'd They Do That' section for this one. Very Nice Photo! |

Absolut Inebriation.by GordonComment by cbonsall: The only way "I" know how to do this is through photoshop but being as its Gordon I assume you didn't, is it double exposure or something. I really like the idea but I think it would have been better if the two were in the same exposure together, as it is the bottle is athe wrong perspective and looks out of place |
