Remember the Alamoby GordonComment by Jacko: I'll take the one on the left (Gordon's girl?). Nice shot. I like the tones and the depth of field. Jacko. 9 |

Remember the Alamoby GordonComment by justine: Pretty girls. I think they should of been closer together and maybe switched places. The one girl is very dark (jacket, hair, scarf) and it's hard to see her nice face. Still I do like the fact that they are so relaxed. Good work, good luck. |

The riverwalk, San Antonio at Christmasby GordonComment by Dez: Love the reflections in the canal. I think I would have had the river further to the left in the frame though, as the right-hand bank is far more colourful and interesting than the opposite one. |

A body : Apartby GordonComment by PTLParsons: I can't tell if these hands belong to the head or belong to someone standing behind him. Nice B&W. Good focus, nice and soft. Very good composition with good execution. The facial expression is almost non-expressive - very good for this shot. I'd give it a 9 any day. PTL |

A body : Apartby GordonComment by LindaLee: Unique concept, terrific lighting; love the whole negative space thing. It's a shot that I have to keep coming back to look at. |

Shooting Stars!by GordonComment by KarenB: Oooh. Not fair to do a Critique on your shot Gordon... (ack)
(intimidation strikes)
okay..here goes
ahem..
Critique Club
Initial: Cool shot!
Composition: Nice arrangement of the stars.. Including 3 makes it intersting and makes my eye wander to each one. The framing is good, although I wonder what it would have looked like to tilt the camera in an unorthodox way, i.e. instead of portrait or horizontal, something askew in between to give depth to the image.
Technical: Excellent control while zooming in to create the streak effect. Exposure is right on, and the quality is excellent as well.
I like the global interest this has... can mean something to many. Love the shooting star effect. Wonder if the different framing would include more of the streaking on the lower right star.
