Obviously not made form multiple exposures, unless you had him glued up there. You did a good job of using HDR techniques to pull the scene from what were certainly deep shadows.

I shall be rating this challenge by the following criteria:

1 - Not HDR in my opinion

3 - HDR is way over-done, in my opinion

5 - A reasonable use of HDR, but not a very engaging photo, in my opinion

7 - A reasonable use of HDR, and an engaging photo, in my opinion

10 - A fantastic use of HDR, and an out of this world photo, in my opinion

You did a nice job capturing the moment. I think a tighter crop to remove some of the foreground would work better, and the background is a bit busy, The bike and rider sort of get lost in all the lines of the building behind. otherwise I like it. I have taken alot of shots of motocross and bmx over the past year, it is one of my favorite actions to photograph.
