Very interesting approach to the challenge: disturbed only by the suspicion that it isn't absolutely centred. That's not a a 'does not meet challenge' comment beloved of the masses - but in a composition that relies entirely on the graphic, as this silhouette does, the absolute balance of that geometry has so much more importance. I think this should be cropped square, and the squirrel lowered and moved right a touch in frame. That could all be an optical illusion though, but I suspect not ...

At first glance, I thought something was missing. At second glance, or rather, at a longer look, I realize that the fact that this is so minimalistic is just right. The chainlink is almost psychedelic, which makes the perfectly non-psychedelic squirrel sitting there a bit of a shock. Or maybe I'm reading too much into this, heh heh. What I'm trying to say is that I like this very much :-)
