Beautiful capture. Positive tension between the bird and the leaf. It indeed does look like a scene from a story. Great job with the chosen DOF, with the front and back bokeh, and processing.

Lovely and simple winter detail. I like the way that a single leaf remains, brittle, weathered, hanging on when all others have fallen. The shallow DOF creates a lovely effect of the branches and background behind.

The first thing I noticed was the leaf, it's perfectly placed and a wonderful colour to stand out among the tangle of branches. Then I saw the bird. Another perfectly placed element, love the eye. This is one of my favourites. Excellent title as well.
