Wonderland's Lureby MaryOComment by om10: From the thumnail I though, oh dear thats not going to be very good, but as soon as I clicked on it I was pleasently suprised. It has nice sharp focus on the eye and whiskers, nice crop, good texture. And I do like the lighting.
Good job. |

shenandoah_0105.JPGby MaryOComment by mk: Oh Shenandoah, I long to seeeeee you.... :)
Are you really getting colors like that this late? I had no idea the east was so far behind us...our colors are long gone (and the leaves, too!)
Gorgeous shot. I like the graduation of color. Looks like you've got a tad bit of camera shake...was it windy up there? |

Day 26 - Wearyby MaryOComment by posthumous: ok, I am so totally biased about dog pictures right now. Just so you know. This perfectly captures a feeling that I've been trying to capture with my dog, and it does it with a crisp clear sharpness instead of all that noise that I generate. Lovely composition with a diagonal movement from darkness to light, or vice versa.
I don't know Shane's real age, but this for me is the Old Dog, the Good Old Dog, the one who knows you much better than you know him, the one who is a pain in the ass to take care of but who would give his life to take care of you. This is one of those rare photos that DPC would love and that I also love. |
